Secure local jobs

The Secure Local Jobs Code strengthens the ACT Government’s procurement practices, so our contracts are only awarded to businesses that meet the highest ethical and labour standards.

A Secure Local Jobs Code Certificate shows a business meets the standards in the Secure Local Jobs Code. It is required for:

• businesses tendering for construction, cleaning, security, or traffic management work of any value;
• services or works procurements over $200,000 (other than those listed as excluded).

Visit the Secure Local Jobs Code website to check if you need a Certificate and find the application form, as well as a list of approved auditors and resources that will assist you with your application.

If you require Certification, be sure to factor in the application processing time and indicative cost when looking for, and deciding on, which opportunity to pursue.
